SharePoint Web Content Management System
When Prince George's County Maryland needed to migrate their legacy content management system to a more efficient and secure platform, they selected BinaryWave to design a SharePoint solution to meet their needs. Already taking advantage of SharePoint Portal Server 2003 on their county-wide intranet, Prince George's wanted to extend the ease-of-use, flexibility and security of SharePoint 2007 to deliver press releases, agency agendas, calendars and other dynamic content to residents throughout the county. BinayWave developed a WSS-based solution which allows editors in various departments to create and publish their own content using automated approval workflows and a set of custom web parts to sort, filter, and display relevant information.

With increased regulatory scrutiny, government oversight and skyrocketing insurance costs, Horizon needed to rapidly deploy a solution for tracking and reporting patient fall incidents. Using the SmartForms framework from BinaryWave, Horizon was able to implement a native SharePoint solution for patient fall record data capture and retrieval in just over a month and deliver it immediately to facilities everywhere, giving care providers a valuable tool for monitoring patient incidents and increasing corporate visibility into various risk factors.
